Yaartok Child Safety Standards

Yaartok (package com.yaartok) is operated by GOMU ("we"). Yaartok is an 18+ only app for 1:1 audio and video calls and chat. This page describes our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Any use of Yaartok that involves, solicits, depicts, or facilitates CSAE or CSAM is strictly prohibited. We remove offending accounts and content, preserve evidence as required by law, and report to the relevant authorities.
18+ only
Yaartok is only for people aged 18 or over. You confirm you are 18+ when you accept the Terms at signup. The app is not for children, is not a dating service for minors, and is not therapy. Accounts we reasonably believe belong to anyone under 18 are removed.
In-app reporting and blocking
Users can report and block other users and chats from within the app. Reports go to our admin moderation queue for review. We act on reports that involve CSAE or CSAM as a priority.
Moderation and enforcement
- An admin moderation queue reviews user reports.
- We remove offending accounts and related content.
- We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these standards.
- We preserve evidence as required by applicable law for investigation and reporting.
Reporting to authorities
Where we become aware of CSAM or CSAE, we report it to the relevant authorities. For India that includes the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and the national cybercrime portal at cybercrime.gov.in. Where applicable we also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
