Yaartok Privacy Policy

Yaartok (package com.yaartok) is operated by GOMU ("we"). This policy explains what the Yaartok Android app and its servers collect, why, who we share it with, and how to delete it. Contact: yaartok@gmail.com.

Who can use Yaartok

Yaartok is only for people aged 18 or over. You confirm you are 18+ when you accept the Terms in the app. It is not a dating service and not therapy.

What we collect

• Phone number – to log you in with a one-time code and to identify your account.
• Display name and role (caller or listener) – shown to the people you talk to.
• Calls and chat – who you called or chatted with, when, call type (audio/video), duration, and charges. Chat messages are stored on our servers so they can be delivered and shown in your history. Call audio and video are streamed live and are never recorded or stored by us.
• Listener voice intro – if you apply as a listener, a short voice sample you submit for review.
• Wallet and payments – your ₹ balance, top-up orders and payment IDs. Card, UPI or bank details you enter at checkout are collected by our payment processor, Razorpay, not by us.
• Listener payouts – listeners provide a UPI ID so we can pay their earnings.
• Feedback, reports and blocks – ratings after calls, reports you file and users you block, to keep the service safe.
• Terms acceptance – the version and time you accepted the Terms (including your 18+ confirmation).
• Technical data – our servers log IP addresses and request data for security and troubleshooting. A login session token is stored encrypted on your device.

We do not show ads, we do not use advertising IDs, and the app has no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

Permissions

• Microphone – for audio and video calls.
• Camera – for video calls (optional).
• Notifications – incoming-call and ongoing-call notices.
• Foreground service – keeps your microphone/camera working when a live call is in the background.

Who we share data with

• Razorpay – processes wallet top-ups (Razorpay privacy).
• LiveKit – relays live call audio/video in real time; it is not recorded.
• Hosting providers (Oracle Cloud, Cloudflare) that run our servers and network.
• Authorities, when required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS and secure WebSockets).

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. To delete your account see yaartok.com/delete-account. On deletion we close your account and remove your profile from the service. Wallet, payment and payout records may be kept for as long as Indian tax and payment laws require, and then deleted.

Your choices

You can deny camera or microphone permission (calls of that type won't work), block users, and ask us at yaartok@gmail.com for a copy or correction of your data.

Changes

We will update this page and the effective date if this policy changes.
